8 May Celebration - World Red Crescent & Red Cross Day 2012

In conjunction of  8 May Celebration - World Red Crescent & Red Cross Day 2012, Its have been our tradition to celebrate first born babies at the hospital over the years on 8 may. We hope that voluntary spirit can be spread along to the babies family .

'The 12th Journey of Mani 2012' First Aid Discussion

On the 29th of April (Sunday) in Subang Jaya, 8 First Aiders of Petaling Chapter was requested for a short discussion about the basics of First Aid and CPR to a group of students ranging from age 8 - 16 years old in the event 'The 12th Journey of Mani 2012'. First Aiders from various detachments arrived at 1 pm at Dewan Serbaguna Subang Jaya.

The talk started with an introduction to First Aid, followed by a short bandaging course and a short CPR course. The whole discussion lasted for approximately 2 hours and ended at 3 pm.

Alpha Operation for Bersih 3.0

Date : 28^TH April 2012

Time : 7.00a.m - 5.30p.m

Venue : IPK BSMM, Jalan Nipah off Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur.

On the 28^th April 2012, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Branches volunteers was standby for helping distributing water and providing medical assistance to those in need during BERSIH 3.0. The Operation was named Alpha Operation.

The briefing was given at 9.00a.m for all volunteers. All the volunteers standby at IPK BSMM Jalan Nipah. First assessment was conducted at 10 a.m. Alpha operation was deployed at 3.45 p.m.

The operation was ended at 5.30 p.m. None of volunteers were injured during the operation.

The 33rd Annual General Meeting Notice !

SMK Bandar Utama Damansara (4) - First Aid and Knot-Tie course

Time : 8:00am to 5:00pm
Venue : Classrooms and School Compound of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Utama Damansara (4) .

On the 24th of March, ‘Kadet Remaja Sekolah’ Club of SMK BU(4) organized a short First Aid and Knot-Tie course. Petaling Chapter sent 3 members to provide a short discussion regarding the basics of first aid to prepare them for future unwanted misfortunes.

The talk began at 8.00 am and were presented by Sir. Imran Tam and will is alternated with the other two members. The talk is divided into 5 sections. Each section comprised of approximately 80 minutes with an explanation about the basics of first aid.
