Orientation Day for Teachers and IHL Course for Youths

On the 16th of March 2013, an International Humanitarian Law course was held in SK Dato’ Onn Jaafar intended for the youths of high schools in Petaling Utama. 53 students participated in this course. Among the emphasis of this module is the history of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent society.

Simultaneously, an orientation designed for the teacher advisors of both primary and secondary schools in Petaling Utama and Petaling Perdana was held in the same venue. The induction was intended to receive incoming and present teacher advisors, all at once, acquainting them with the Chapter’s common functional procedures to maintain a harmonious workflow between the Chapter and the schools.

Blood Donation Program

Blood Donation program was succesfully held at Plaza Alam Sentral , Shah Alam , on 24th and 25th of November  from 10.30am to 5.00pm . Though only 108 bags were eventually collected , more than 124 peoples signed up for two day of the program . It was indeed a meaningful days for VAD Shah Alam because the program finally succeeded  . A big thank to everyone who has joined in this noble cause .
